Dynamic Seating: Providing Movement for Clinical Benefit

Dynamic seating is movement which occurs within the seating system and/or wheelchair frame in response to intentional or unintentional force generated by the individual. This course explains what dynamic seating is and why it is used. Clinical indicators for who might benefit from dynamic seating and how are addressed. Examples of how dynamic seating can be used to address movement at the hips, legs, and head are demonstrated.
