Does the Extreme X8 require increased maintenance over other wheelchairs?
No, if you get your wheelchair dirty, you may find you need to clean it more often. Almost 100% of the Extreme X8's parts have a rust-preventative coating. However, people who use their X8 on the beach regularly should spray moving parts with oil for corrosion protection. This can be done with an aerosol can (WD40/CRC) or at a local garage.
